I built this for my own studio first

I run a Krav Maga studio in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey.

More people now ask ChatGPT or Google "where should I train near me?" instead of scrolling through a page of links. They get a short answer with a few names. If you're not one of them, they never see you.

I noticed small studios like mine often get left out of those answers. Not because they're worse. Because the tools can't read them. The prices are in a photo. The schedule is a PDF. The free class offer lives on Instagram. The big chains spell all of that out on their pages, so they're easy to name.

So I built a check that reads a studio's website the way these tools do. I run it on my own studio's site. Then I ran it on studios around me in Morris County. The same few things came up again and again: no business info in the code, no clear intro offer, no FAQ.

None of those are hard to fix. You just have to know they're there.

Google and ChatGPT can only name what they can read

When a local asks for a place to train, these tools look for clear answers on your site:

  • What do you teach?
  • Where are you? (Your address and phone written as text, not just in a picture.)
  • When are classes?
  • How much does it cost to start?
  • How do I try it? (One clear free class or intro offer, and a booking link that works.)

If your site doesn't say it plainly, they skip you and name someone else. Nobody calls to tell you. You just get fewer people asking about trials.

Three things owners often believe:

  • "I'm on Google, so I'm fine." Being listed and being recommended aren't the same thing. Your site still has to answer the basic questions.
  • "AI will figure it out." It can only use what's written down. A schedule inside an image is blank to it.
  • "I'd need an agency for this." Many fixes are a few lines of text you can add yourself. The rest you can hand to your web person.

How it works

Three steps. Your check is free.

1. Paste your website.

We read only public pages: your homepage, a few key pages like About, Contact and Pricing, and the files Google and AI tools look for. We never log in or touch your booking software.

2. Get your results.

An overall result out of 100, plus a result for each of the 5 areas below. Add your email and you'll see every problem we found, how serious it is, and why it matters.

3. Fix what's holding you back.

Get the Fix Kit for $19, one time, and you get the step-by-step fix for every problem on your report.

1

AI answers

Can ChatGPT and Google's AI read what you offer, where, and for who? FAQ, plain text, and whether your site blocks AI tools.

2

Google & Maps

Your address and phone as text, business info in the code, social links, and a link to your Google profile and map.

3

Visitors to members

A schedule and prices people can find, real reviews, one clear free trial offer, and a booking link that works.

4

Speed & mobile

Does the page load fast and work on a phone?

5

Basics & trust

A secure site, a clear page title, a sitemap, and nothing telling Google to hide you.

Honest note: we don't ask ChatGPT about your studio. We check your website, which is what Google and AI tools read. Nobody can promise these tools will recommend you. Fixing the basics improves your odds.

$19, one time. No subscription.

Your free report shows you what's wrong. The Fix Kit shows you exactly how to fix it.

What you get:

  1. The fix for every problem on your report. Plain steps: what to change and where.
  2. The right order. Most serious problems first. The ones you can do yourself come before the ones that need a web person.
  3. Fill-in-the-blank wording for the lines Google and ChatGPT read first: your page title, your description, your main heading, the "what you teach, for who, where" sentence, your starting price line and your free trial line.
  4. The exact technical bits, so your web person doesn't have to guess: the code line to add, the business info fields to fill in, and which AI bots your site is blocking.
  5. Builder notes. Some fixes point to the exact setting in Wix, Squarespace or WordPress.
  6. Ready to hand off. Forward it to your web person or paste it into your website builder as is.
  7. Yours to keep. A private link you can open any time, and a copy by email.

Common questions

Quick answers

Is the check really free?

Yes. You see your results with no sign-up and no card. To see the full list of problems, we ask for your email. We'll also send short tips, and you can unsubscribe any time.

Do you ask ChatGPT what it says about my studio?

No. We read your website, the same pages AI tools read. We focus on things on your site you can actually fix.

Can you promise ChatGPT will recommend me?

No. Nobody controls what Google or AI tools show, and anyone who promises that is guessing. We check the signals they rely on, plus the basics that turn a visitor into a booked trial. Fixing them improves your odds.

Do I need to give you a login?

No. We never log in, fill in forms or touch your booking software. We follow your robots.txt.

Do I need to be technical?

No. Every fix is written for owners. Some, like the business info code, may be easier for your web person. You can send them the list as is.

Is the Fix Kit a subscription?

No. It's $19 once.

I already have a marketing agency. Do I need this?

Maybe not. The free check is a quick second opinion. If it finds problems, send the list to your agency.

Who's behind this?

Me, Goncalo Esteves. I run a Krav Maga studio in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. PickMyGym is run by Self Defense 4 All LLC, a New Jersey company.
